Statistics for FY 2010-2011

(July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011)

BCDM provided a wide variety of interfaith chaplaincy services, life skills and reentry classes to approximately 40,000 incarcerated individuals in 10 detention and treatment facilities in Bexar and Karnes Counties.

At our outreach center, the Family Renewal Center, 15 reentry social service programs were provided to 2,434 formerly incarcerated individuals and 710 family members. 86% of the formerly incarcerated did not get rearrested that fiscal year!!!!
