Job Description – Change Agent

Position Reports to: Outreach Program Director FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
The Change Agent is the primary point of contact within the agency and the primary support person to the staff regarding Client Management System issues. The Change Agent is responsible for:
Job Duties:

Responsible for daily input of new clients into the CMS database from client intakes. This includes meeting with individual clients and ensuring that the information on the client intakes is complete and accurate.

Receives cash for services from clients as necessary and will deliver all cash received to the Business Manager before the end of the work day.

Creates client files and inserts client intake forms.

Maintains client database:

Inputs accurate information

Verifies efficiency of reports

Update client records
-
Assure all intake forms submitted by Outreach Center staff are entered into CMS in a timely manner.

Gathers information for “Client Outcome” reports as needed by the Outcomes Program Coordinator and the Outreach Program Director.

Backs up the database regularly, if necessary.

Attends Client Management System User Group Meetings in collaborative settings.

Reviews inmate population listing at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center weekly for purpose of recidivism evaluation.

Maintains compliance with all BCDM policies and procedures as well as institutional regulations of assigned work sites.

Assists Outcomes Program Director, or Executive Director with other duties assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements

High School Diploma/GED; some college preferred.
-
Must pass BCADC clearance, and test negative for tuberculosis.

Be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge and Skills
-
Experience in working as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Extensive knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Have keyboarding skills of 40 correct words per minute.

Flexibility in working hours.

Ability and desire to work with clergy, staff, and volunteers of varying faith backgrounds.

Ability to establish priorities and work independently.

Ability to handle and resolve problems and conflicts and work under stressful conditions.
